Position Responsibilities:

The Brand Manager is responsible for setting, implementing, and managing the brand's sales and marketing growth strategy.  The E-Commerce Brand Manager will focus on ensuring smooth daily operations and consumer satisfaction through the company's 3rd party marketplace selling account as well as internal product flow through inventory and forecast management.

 

  • Ownership of the annual financial plan and expense budgets for the brand, including monthly forecasts by item and customer, to ensure alignment with the corporate plan
  • Development and execution of the strategic growth plan for the brand
  • Plan and execute new product launch programs aligned with the established growth goals
  • Direct and execute customer and consumer content support programs in collaboration with the Product Development and Content Creation teams with a focus on brand relevance, attribution, and financial plan targets
  • Gathering, analyzing, and reporting on both internal and external key business drivers, KPIs, and team initiatives
  • Develop and maintain key customer relationships through a thorough understanding of consumer and customer expectations, trends, and preferences
  • Collaborate across business functions (finance, legal, human resources, etc.) to ensure brand success and company alignment on goals and values
  • Support all corporate growth initiatives for the channel, category, and market expansion
  • Provide team leadership that ensures a culture of creativity, collaboration, and a drive for profitable growth for the organization

 

Critical Skills:

  • Direct experience in Amazon Seller Central and other back-end marketplace selling portals, as well as experience in using marketplace selling and fulfillment automation tolls
  • Knowledge of Facebook, Amazon, Google Ads & Reporting
  • Direct experience with email, text, and web marketing analysis and reporting required
  • Basic understanding of SEO/Content Requests experience
  • Deep expertise in brand management, strategy development, planning, and team leadership
  • Brand performance analysis and reporting with an ROI focus and the ability to articulate goals and results
  • Collaboration to work effectively with key customer and cross-functional partners
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively across a geographically dispersed team

Experience Required:
  • 5+ years of total work experience in e-commerce and retail relationships
  • New product launch planning and/or new product development experience a plus
  • Solid experience forecasting & budgeting across multiple channels/platforms
  • Experience working with agencies (to outsource Ad Spend, Amazon Operations, etc.)
  • Understanding inventory, shipping/freight, and International requirements is a plus
  • Strong communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner verbally and written

Other Remarks:
We need someone with both brand marketing and e-commerce experience; this includes product line, item development and marketing strategy experience. A key measure is setting and managing the brand plan.
