Position Responsibilities:

Seeking a remarkable E-Commerce Manager for five consumer brands.  The ideal candidate will have strong e-commerce expertise managing sales revenue and product content on third-party retailers’ websites.  Set up and maintain an internal e-commerce product content database, such as Salsify or other PIM.  This role requires exceptional project management, Excel and analytical skills, written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and cross-functional leadership, as well as a hands-on approach within our fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to set up, maintain and optimize our products on retailer websites including walmart.com, target.com, costco.com, and many others. This role is responsible to optimize product content, together with the VP of Marketing, and optimize revenue, together with the VP of Sales.  (This role is not responsible for Amazon nor DTC websites.)
  • Manage e-commerce product content database in Salsify, including formatting and organizing database, developing and internally sharing reports, uploading new item content, and updating changes to copy, images, videos, price, dimensions, and other product attributes
  • Responsible to manage Salsify for use with third party retailers, including setting up and maintaining automated mapping to ensure content is optimized and updated on third party websites; Collaborate with Salsify consultant as needed to optimize all aspects of PIM
  • Help manage ads on third-party retailer websites, as directed by VP of Sales
  • Collaborate with DTC Director to optimize reviews on third-party retailers’ websites, including review syndication using BazaarVoice

Experience Required:
  • 2+ years’ experience required managing third party retailer e-commerce, including content management and sales optimization
  • Experience with Walmart.com, Target.com, and Costco.com preferred
  • Experience with Salsify, or similar PIM preferred
  • Strong Excel and analytical abilities required
  • Strong cross-functional team leadership experience required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience editing content (copy and images) is helpful, but not required
  • Experience managing ads for third party e-commerce is helpful, but not required
  • Experience with BazaarVoice, Salsify, and Syndigo is helpful, but not required

Sales focused responsibilities: - Support third-party retailers (ie. Walmart.com, Costco.com, Target.com) – while these retailers are the prime focus, there will be a total of 20-30 sites. - Upload content – make adjustments as needed (the company has a content team); as needed resize images, etc. - Optimize product on sites, use keywords, and manage the pricing strategy Marketing focused responsibilities: - Salsify – manage and work on Salsify (a digital content database that contains all product info including descriptions, pictures, item numbers, images, videos, etc. - The company is seeking to use Salsify’s automatic mapping capabilities on third-party websites. - The initial focus will be to fix/clean up Salsify database (they do have a Salsify consultant); get information and content for Content or Graphics teams
