Financial Planning and Controls

Ensures compliance for month-end closing, year-end closing, cost revision, financial budgets, and annual physical inventories. Prepares/reviews all journal entries, reports, and account reconciliations prepared by accounting personnel. Supports all JSOX, Internal, and External Audit reviews Drives weekly financial forecasting process Oversee local cycle counting program, ensuring accurate, and timely reporting of on hand inventory Ensure tight spending controls with purchase requisitions review


Strategic Operational Business Partner

Key leadership role in building annual budget and midterm planning Active business partner in discussions concerning the overall plant business plans and alternatives. Participate in ad hoc analysis on departmental performance, capital investment, productivity project review



Perform the necessary self-directed financial analysis to contribute to the overall cost effectiveness of the plant. Participates in the long-range solution to accounting-related problems and it the formation and application of new accounting systems. Develops complex financial models to bring greater visibility of operational impact on financial results


Assistant Controller work focuses on short and long-term financial planning and/or financial analysis of business operations at the Aiken Off Road Tire Plant for the purpose of measuring and forecasting future business performance. Reports to plant Controller. Looking for a candidate that would fit this growth opportunity.

Superior MS Excel and Access skills
Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
Strong EXCEL skills At least 3 years of exp
Financial modeling
Strong communication and presentation skills
SQL server experience
