Position Responsibilities:
  • Drive strategy, budget and execution of branded marketing initiatives through any medium required, ensuring a singular brand message across all branded touch points
  • Build and execute a full year marketing plan across owned, earned and paid channels.
  • Develop and execute annual earned media plan
  • Fulfill on the brand marketing objectives by working closely with the Sr. Director of Brand Marketing and SVP of Marketing
  • Analyze customer and audience insights to translate them into marketing, community development, and/or growth strategies.
  • Formulate crisis communication to assist organization with timely response(s)
  • Leads creation and execution of Corporate Social Responsibility strategy
  • Develop and execute philanthropic scorecard and process for execution
  • Leads content calendar planning for all paid, owned, earned content
  • Creates and manages all corporate communications
  • Strong marketing, organizational/process, communications, and writing skills are critical. Strong ability to work with sales, industry, government, public relations and sales organizations, in a collaborative way
  • Serves as Brand Ambassador and participates in media interviews
  • Leads event activations, sponsorships and manages execution
  • Oversees and sets priorities for all creative projects assigned to internal creative services team
  • Effectively recap efforts, analyze, and measure the effectiveness of brand marketing initiatives in a timely manner to develop insights and make effective recommendations.
  • Works heavily with Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Creative Services, Trade Marketing, Sales and Operations
  • Drives influencer strategies that increase share of voice and drive trial/purchase intent
  • Market Research – Identify market research needs and works closely with Insights and Business Intelligence teams
  • Responsible for timely reporting of KPIs to inform brand marketing, trade marketing and sales teams
  • Coordinates communication across enterprise impacting brand and supports Director as the secondary point of contact for all crisis communication and corporate communications.
  • Develops and executes the philanthropic strategy and ensures effective execution according to plan.
  • Responsible for creating annual citizens report

Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (4-year degree) is required in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field. MBA preferred
  • 3+ years marketing experience working directly with a CPG brand required.
  • Deep media experience with a direct-to-consumer brand in a high growth stage, and/or CPG experience.
  • 3-5 years integrated marketing experience accountable for all paid, owned and earned media
  • 3+ years of corporate communications experience is required
  • Must have prior experience developing and executing CSR strategies
  • Must be media trained and comfortable in front of the camera and handling interviews from the press
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills with prior experience developing branded content and corporate communication assets.
  • Proven track record of leading event activations
  • Must have prior experience leading Public Relations for a brand including direct management with PR agencies
  • Must have corporate communications background with ability to not only lead direction but write communications when needed
  • Experience developing effective influencer marketing programs
  • Working directly with beverage and or food consumer brand(s) is highly desired, but not required.
  • Must have excellent proven leadership skills
  • Must have excellent project management skills with direct experience leading large scale product launches and rebranding projects
  • Must have experience leading agencies and managing large budgets across several teams
  • Ability to deliver effective creative input and prioritize projects with Creative Services team
  • Strong financial acumen required
  • Must have excellent communication skills with a track record for coordinating complex projects across cross functional teams
  • Expert knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
  • Proficient in MS Office required
  • Self-motivated professional able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform under stress and adapt well when confronted with emergency or escalating situations
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and root cause analysis experience
