Position Responsibilities:
  • Drive strategy, budget and execution of brand marketing initiatives through any medium required, ensuring a singular brand message across all branded touch points
  • Build and execute a full year marketing plan across owned, earned and paid channels.
  • Build and execute strategies that drive meaningful engagement and retention
  • Fulfill on the brand marketing objectives by working closely with the Sr. Director of Brand Marketing and SVP of Marketing
  • Analyze customer and audience insights to translate them into marketing, community development, and/or growth strategies.
  • Create compelling proposals that excite and enthusiastically tell Community Coffee brand story.
  • Develop defendable and unique brand identity and personas for house of brands.
  • Lead internal creative and digital team and external agencies to plan, manage, and oversee the execution of brand marketing deliverables.
  • Effectively recap efforts, analyze, and measure the effectiveness of brand marketing initiatives in a timely manner to develop insights and make effective recommendations.
  • Defines digital strategy and partners with Ecommerce team to drive history-making ecommerce sales with thorough working knowledge of driving brand success via Amazon
  • Serves as single point of contact for all paid, owned and earned media
  • Is lead contact with all outside agencies, consultants, etc. creating branded content
  • Works heavily with Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales and Operations
  • Leads strategy for B2B and B2C marketing campaigns to drive product line growth in support of brand strategy
  • Drives influencer strategies that increase share of voice and drive trial/purchase intent
  • Market Research – Identify market research needs and works closely with Insights and Business Intelligence teams
  • Strong marketing, organizational/process, communications, and writing skills are critical. Strong ability to work with sales, industry, government, public relations and sales organizations, in a collaborative way.
  • Responsible for monthly brand tracking reporting along with timely reporting of KPIs to inform brand marketing, trade marketing and sales teams
  • Coordinates communication across enterprise impacting brand and is single point of contact for all crisis communication and corporate communications.
  • Oversees philanthropic strategy and ensures effective execution according to plan
  • Partners with SVP of Marketing and Sr. Management Team to develop and execute the Company’s long-term marketing strategy.  Educate senior and emerging leaders on the Company’s Brand Marketing strategy and assist them in aligning their area’s initiatives to support the Company’s goals.

Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (4-year degree) is required in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field. MBA preferred
  • 5+ years marketing experience working directly with a CPG brand required.
  • Deep media experience with a direct-to-consumer brand in a high growth stage, and/or CPG experience.
  • 10+ years integrated marketing experience accountable for all paid, owned and earned media
  • 3+ years digital marketing experience with proven track record of success driving ecommerce sales
  • Must be media trained and comfortable in front of the camera and handling interviews from the press
  •  Must have experience launching new brand into new category or existing brand into new demographic, geography, or channel.
  • A proven ability of selecting and structuring deals with brand partners as well as experience sourcing strategic partnerships deals, along with a strong network of potential CPG partners.
  • Must have corporate communications background with ability to not only lead direction but write communications when needed
  •  Experience developing effective influencer marketing programs
  • Working directly with beverage and or food consumer brand(s) is highly desired, but not required.
  • Must have excellent proven leadership skills
  • Must have excellent project management skills with direct experience leading large scale product launches and rebranding projects
  • Must have experience leading agencies and managing large budgets across several teams
  • Ability to deliver effective creative input and prioritize projects with Creative Services team
  • Strong financial acumen required
  • Must have excellent communication skills with a track record for coordinating complex projects across cross functional teams
  • Expert knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
  • Self-motivated professional able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and root cause analysis experience
