Communications Activation Designer OTC/Rx Consumer Healthcare
Responsible for leading the development of digital creative assets for Social Media, E-Commerce, Customer Marketing and updating the company’s websites.
Responsible for developing communication assets to increase awareness, trial and consumer engagement. Creates engaging static images, gifs and videos to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around company’s products when advertised on-line and in social media channels. Uses industry standard graphics. Updates for the existing websites content and imagery per the brands leader guidance.
While reporting to the Senior Manager of Communications will need to work closely with the Social Media Coordinator, E-Commerce Manager and Brand leaders to assure that the strategy, brand tone and manner is implemented in the creative.
Needs to suggest best practices and new ways to attract consumers, based on graphic development trends.
Bachelor’s degree in related field (Graphic Design, Web Development, Visual Communications)
-Personal use and understanding of social media communication and connectivity
-An excellent creative portfolio demonstrating multidisciplinary design efforts
-Strong familiarity with web design, visual hierarchy, and color theory
-Experience in web development is a plus
-Must see digital design portfolio, submit link along with resume
Computer / technical skills:
-Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, InDesign)
-Master of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects CC workflows
Time of experience
+3 years of experience in social media graphic design
+2 years of experience in in video, preferably with use in marketing based projects
Nice to have
-Experience with WordPress, PHP, Flash, or ActionScript desired
-Strong understanding of HTML and CSS, ability to hand-code and design hypertext links
Travel required – up to 10%
