Position Responsibilities:

â–ª  Coordinate with hiring manager(s) to determine best recruiting process for position(s)

â–ª  Screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone or in person), administer appropriate assessments and reference/background/credit checks, make recommendations for hire (or not to hire) and deliver employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt positions within an assigned region 

â–ª  Serve as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned region

â–ª  Use traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates

â–ª  Develop advertising programs to ensure high visibility with potential candidates

â–ª  Manage internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc. 

â–ª  Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process 

â–ª  Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals

â–ª  Communicate important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits and compensation, etc.)

â–ª  Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance

â–ª  Implement and manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS)

â–ª  Manage application and resume and retain according to company policy

â–ª  Act as liaison with area employment agencies

â–ª  Create basic reports from HRIS for managers as needed

â–ª  Maintain memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry

Experience Required:

â–ª  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

â–ª  Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing high level support to the recruiting and staffing function 

â–ª  An understanding of human resources functional areas, policies, and labor laws

â–ª  Must be both an independent thinker and a team player

â–ª  Excellent communication (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and interpersonal skills

â–ª  Applies common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

â–ª  Strong analytical, conceptualization, interpretation, and critical thinking skills

â–ª  Must be detail-oriented

â–ª  Self-motivated with a sense of urgency, and readily acclimates to an ever-changing environment 

â–ª  Uses sound reason and judgement; calmly deals with problems involving co-workers, clients, and customers
