Position Responsibilities:
  • Develop new, compelling FIT and group tour programs that address market trends and business opportunities with various audiences and distribution channels
  • Conduct research and analysis to ensure that the company’s offerings are best-in-market in terms of product and pricing
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of products and services available in the marketplace and through the company
  • Educate internal and external stakeholders including destination specialists, sales, marketing, PR teams, and travel advisors on products and services offered by the company
  • Serve as a key point of contact for all new product and supply opportunities
  • Vet, contract, manage and strengthen relationships with destination management companies and other suppliers; ensure that suppliers are delivering to high standards set forth in, and are in compliance with, commercial agreements
  • Own and manage product roadmap and calendars; collaborate with marketing team on brochure production and to ensure products on our website, APIs, and other channels are up to date

Experience Required:
  • 10+ years of experience in a tour operator product development role.  Professional experience with luxury travel products is required.
  • Possess a customer-first focus and proven ability to identify and translate customer and market needs and trends into appealing product and service offerings
  • Possess creativity and an entrepreneurial, get-stuff-done attitude; be a team player
  • Experience negotiating and reaching commercial agreements with suppliers
  • Financial aptitude: ability to conduct pricing, margin and other analyses on product performance
  • Understanding of traditional and new (tech-driven) B2B and B2C sales, marketing, supplier connectivity and distribution channels
  • Ability to work with colleagues across departments, including sales, marketing, IT, and operations, and with colleagues at all levels across the globe; team management experience preferred
  • Desire to be recognized as an industry leader, and for the company to offer products and services considered best-in-class by consumers and the industry
  • Passionate about international, luxury travel
Education Required:
