Luxury Travel Consultant, Europe Travel / Tourism
We are seeking a Travel Consultant to join our dynamic, upbeat and passionate team based in NYC. This individual will work in our European division, which includes custom private travel to Spain, Portugal, Greece, and Turkey. Other exciting destinations are being considered as expansion opportunities.
With a strong presence in Europe, our goal is to increase our market-share and position the company to be the dominate leader in private luxury travel to the destinations we serve in Europe.
-You will fully evaluate our product offerings with an eye toward enhancing and further developing the experiences we offer to our clients. This may include private sailing excursions, multi-destination experiences, private villas, high adventure, Jewish heritage, and more.
-You will advance our business to business partner relationships and direct to consumer clientele. This will include in-person sales visits and presentations throughout the U.S.
-You will evaluate current sales and profit margins, establish sales goals and benchmarks and evaluate staff performance.
-You will evaluate current operational procedures to gain maximum efficiencies and productivity.
-You will design programs that will encourage past travelers to return for new experience or second experiences in the same destination.
-You will manage and develop relationships with local suppliers including luxury properties, transportation companies, guides, specialists, and more.
-You will directly plan, book and manage sales for client trips.
You’re a self-starter with superior attention to detail and stellar people skills. You’re highly-motivated, sales-oriented and are comfortable wearing many hats—from speaking with discerning clients and travel advisors to assisting with the booking process and confirming itineraries in a fast-paced office environment. This position requires a strong service focus and comfort working with demanding clients.
You have a deep knowledge of Spain, Portugal, Greece and Turkey.
You have a deep knowledge of the luxury travel industry and a proven history of sales within the travel industry.

Teamwork: works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals; solicits input by genuinely valuing others’ ideas and expertise.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Excellent computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), tour operating software and general ease navigating technology in a complex office environment.
