Position Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the President, the Human Resources Manager will provide overall strategic human resource leadership for the company, coordinating the
execution of HR strategies and solutions across the company. The Human Resources Manager will play a hands-on role in new initiatives and strategies for employee and policy development, creating a workplace environment consistent with the values and mission outlined by the President and senior management.

• Recruitment of employees including creating and managing job posts, interviewing, and hiring
• Compensation and benefits administration, including plan sourcing and management of benefit service providers
• Take initiative and make recommendations to the President for process improvements
• Nurture collaborative environment
• Organizational and space planning
• Performance management and staff development systems
• Employee orientation and training
• Employee and office communications related to staff, office and HR matters
• Research, develop, write and update policies, procedures, and human resource guidelines for employees and related programs
• Employee services and counseling, including coaching and assisting managers in addressing complaints and resolving employee related problems
• Compliance with regulatory requirements. Anticipate regulatory changes and impact on organization, recommend and implement solutions to ensure continuity, safety and minimize risk
• Support management by providing human resources advice, counsel and decisions, analyzing information and data about human resource programs
• Align HR processes, procedures and objectives of company offices to establish a consistent application of policies and programs
• Maintain employee confidence and protect the company by keeping information

• Familiarity with employee data platforms including Ceridian, HRIS, or Salesforce
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting, using HR metrics, reporting and analytics to support recommendations and actions
• Knowledge of applicable local, state and federal labor regulations, and ability to research and get clarification on these topics when needed
• Adheres to laws, regulations and highest ethical standards; creates awareness of ethical issues and encourages a transparent culture
• Must have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to prioritize workload, self-manage projects, and handle multiple tasks
• Willingness to work the hours necessary to meet deadlines
